Gazelle

So, I am contemplating getting a Gazelle. No, not this kind:

This kind:

Oh yeah! You can be jealous. I feel for ya! So, the husband and I were talking about us working out and I know that he wants me to be thinner (he says healthier--but I know what he really wants). I do want that too. The problem is I love to eat whatever the hell I want to.. all of the time. Problem number two is that I am lazy. So is my answer in the Gazelle?... well, we shall see...

When I was planning our wedding reception I spent plenty of time doing research for it. If something can be fun and stressful at the same time then that was what planning the reception was for me. In my research of ideas, inspirations and must haves I came across a magical site. Another blogger that was too adorable and had some great ideas.. so like many artist before me I stole the idea and made it my own. Here is the finishing result. What do you think?

Books of Summer/Fall 2010 that I will read.

May 4th Dead in the Family

By:Charlaine Harris
Ms. Harris is such a fun and sexy writer. I am a huge fan of the Sookie Stachkouse Novels. I started reading them before True Blood was in production (thoughts on True Blood at a later date). This is the 9th book in the series and it is highly anticipated by the Sookie followers all over the world.

June 5th The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner

By: Stephenie Meyer
Novella Month. June has become the month of the novella. I’ve decided this because of two highly anticipated books from two very popular vampire series. A love story and a vampire theme is where these two stories quit having anything in common. Honestly, I am more excited about Keys than I am the Bree Tanner novella. I will still read it and I will still buy it because I am a sucker for the Twilight Series.. and that is what they are all counting on, right?

June 29th Keys to the Repository

By: Melissa De La Cruz
This is a novella for the Blue Bloods Series. The book is made up of letters, short stories journal entries and other fun goodies for the fans that love this unique YA series. I, for one, am excited about this book. It is like a little tease until October when the next book in the series comes out.

July 6th Undead and Unfinished

By: Mary Janice Davidson
Just typing the name of this book out made me smile. This is the 9th book in the series and I couldn’t be happier about that book. A few years ago I discovered this series after I consumed all of the Sookie Stackhouse reading that I could. Davidson’s books are just plain FUN. Mix a little bit of Cher from Clueless.. a little bit of Carries from Sex and the City and you get Betsy. Queen Betsy. Well, Queen Betsy of the vampires. To make it short and sweet for ya these books rock my face off.

August 31st The Clockwork Angel (Book 1 of The Infernal Devices)

By: Cassandra Clare
Clare wrote The Mortal Instruments Series. The Infernal Devices is a prequel to that series. You do not have to read The Mortal Instruments to understand this book. I am looking forward to this new series by Clare because I recently finished The Mortal Instruments. Per usual, I was head over heels in love with that world and rooting for my beloved characters. I finished that series about a month ago and will take any little offering of that world that Clare will give me.

September 28th Torment
By Lauren Kate

Fallen is the first book in the series (and, sigh, the only one out as of yet). I finished Fallen last night so I wish that I was reading Torment RIGHT NOW as any other reader that gets as obsessed with her books as I do will understand. Torment will hopefully answer up some of the questions that Fallen did not and boy were there a lot.

October 5th Misguided Angel
By: Melissa De La Cruz

I heart the Blue Bloods. Last fall I consumed The Van Alen Legacy these angelic vampires are addictive but I do not care. I have some major fun with this series. They tend to be for a slightly younger audience than the usual young adult audience I seem to seek out a lot. So, the reading is very quick. It is never difficult. Always enjoyable.
